FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Taylor Farms RECALLS CHICKEN AND PORK SALAD due to listeria monocytogenes

Taylor Farms of Salinas, California is recalling Chicken and Pork Salad due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled product was produced and packaged between February 6-9, 2017 with either the establishment number M/P-34013 or M/P-34733 inside the USDA mark of inspection. The implicated items were shipped to distribution centers California, Oregon, and Texas. The recall was initiated after Taylor Farms was contacted by Sargento Foods, Inc. which supplies cheese products to the Taylor Farms establishments. The cheese products are being recalled by Sargento Foods, Inc due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination.


No Markon products are included in this recall nor did Markon purchase any of the implicated items from Taylor Farms. Please remember to physically check your inventory to ensure none of the affected products are in your warehouse.
