The Washington Bartlett pear season has finished. Markon First Crop (MFC) D’Anjou Pears are available out of Washington.

• MFC D’Anjou Pears will remain available through June
  • Size profile is leaning towards the larger side (70-count through 90-count); 110-count and smaller are limited
  • Pricing is expected to rise with increased demand
  • Overall quality is excellent
• Bosc and Golden Bosc pears are also available through June
  • Size profile is leaning towards the smaller side (110-count to 135-count)
  • Bosc pears will exhibit a more elongated neck and brown russeting skin
  • Quality is very good; scarring is minimal
