Mexico

• Current MFC Asparagus quality is excellent
• Production out of northeastern Mexico (Caborca, Sonora, and Mexicali) will continue to ramp up slowly over the next month
• Extra-large and jumbo-size supplies remain limited, but availability should increase alongside additional harvesting
• Expect markets to ease over the next two to four weeks as Mexican production increases

Peru

• Stocks (shipped into Miami, Florida) are sufficient
• Quality is strong and holding up well despite the longer transit time
• Production out of Northern Peru continues to be an essential source of nationwide supplies
