UPDATE: AVOCADOS SUPPLIES

Avocado supplies are extremely limited as Mexico’s crop wraps up. The California and Peruvian seasons are also winding down.
Mexico
- Mexico’s “Flora Loca” (crazy flower crop) volume is 20-25% lower than last year
- 60-count and larger sizes will be less plentiful through late September
- Quality is very good with very few No. 2 grade fruit available
- The “Adventajada” (early fall crop) is expected to begin by mid- to late September; stocks will be dominated by 60-count and larger sizes
California
- Supplies are diminishing
- The season will end over the next 2 to 3 weeks
- Quality is good; all sizes are extremely limited
Peru
- Production will end over the next 3 to 4 weeks
- Quality is good; all sizes are extremely limited
