Green Bells
- Markon First Crop (MFC) and Markon Essentials (ESS) Green are available
- Florida has moderate production despite cold weather and harvest delays from storm Enzo
- Temperature forecasts are expected to be in the 70’s for the next 10 days
- Expecting adequate volumes to remain for several weeks
- Quality is good
- Mexican supply is steady due to recent favorable weather
- Demand is increasing due to southern US storm Enzo affecting Florida harvests and logistical routes
- Quality is very good; all sizes are available
- Low markets are starting to strengthen heading into next week
Red Bells
- MFC and ESS Red Bell Peppers are available
- Sinaloa, Mexico’s overall supply is increasing due to favorable weather (sunny, 85F)
- New crop quality is very good
- All sizes are available
- Shippers are monitoring slight reductions in harvest due to increased Cartel activity this week
- Expect slightly lower prices over the next two weeks
