• Quality is excellent
• Markets are declining; Pacific Northwest supplies are plentiful in all colors
• Onions have solid, globe-like shape and firm texture
  • Yellow onions have golden, cured skins
  • Red onion skins are setting nicely with a few paper layers
• The Michigan red and yellow onion seasons are in full swing
  • The crop is dominated by small-size supplies
  • Jumbo and larger onions are scarce
• New York growers are currently harvesting both red yellow stocks; white onions are not available
• Healthy onion crops and strong yields are forecast for this upcoming storage season
• Expect the market to stabilize as harvesting winds down
