Idaho

• Red potato markets should remain relatively steady while prices for yellows are inching up
• Quality is very good; current red potato lots are exhibiting light color but this is improving
• Red A and B sizes are meeting demand; larger-size premiums are limited
• Yellow stocks are snug due to strong holiday demand
  • Availability is dominated by No. 2 As
  • Premium sizes are tight

North Dakota

• Red prices will remain steady; yellow markets are easing
• Quality is good; reds are exhibiting light pink
• Expect mixer volume for reds; yellow supplies are plentiful

Wisconsin

• Rising costs are forecast for B-size reds
• Quality is very good; red color is dark
• Red supplies are winding down
• B-size stocks are limited

Colorado

• Markets are stable
• Quality is good
  • Reds are pale in color
  • Yellows are exhibiting occasional dark spots
• Mixer volume is expected to run into the New Year

Michigan

• Prices will remain relatively steady into the New Year
• Quality very good; reds are light in color
• Yellow supplies are ample, especially sizes B and C
• Red volume is lower
  • A-size stocks dominate the crop
  • B-size potatoes are tight

Washington

• Expect level markets into the New Year
• Quality is good; red color is light
• Good mixer volume for both reds and yellows
